SUSAN COLE CANNON, AIA

Susan Cannon has architecture degrees from both NCSU and Harvard.  then worked with Graham Gund Architects, Amsler Hagenah MacLean, and Moore and Burton, among others.  She taught at NCSU's College of Design from 1988-2000 and designed an addition and renovation (Leazer Hall) at the school.  In 1995, she formed Cannon Architects in Raleigh with her husband Roger.  In 2007, Cannon Architects became incorporated as a woman owned business.


2006 – The Bill and Betty Witman Residence, 2212 The Circle, Raleigh, a 1920's bungalow radically turned by the current owners into a modern icon.   Contractor:  Will Alphin.  Structural engineer:  Richard Kaydos-Daniels.  Most photos by James West.
