George Smart is Chair and Executive Director of the nonprofit Triangle Modernist Archive, Inc, host to North Carolina Modernist Houses (NCMH), America's largest open digital archive for Modernist residential architecture. With 11 national, statewide, and local awards, NCMH is a role model for advancing preservation and raising public appreciation of Modernist design.  George's entertaining keynote, Mayberry Modernism, shares how North Carolina became the third largest concentration of Modernist houses in the country.
