TURAN DUDA

Turan Duda is the Triangle's most famous architect that you’ve never heard of.  That's because most of his work is out of town (or out of the country).  A former faculty member at Yale’s School of Architecture, Duda worked 15 years for Cesar Pelli.  In 1997, he partnered with Jeffrey Paine to form Duda Paine Architects in Durham.  Locally, the firm designed Duke’s new Center for Integrative Medicine and Diamond View Office Building overlooking the Durham Bulls Ballpark, among many, many significant projects worldwide.

2006 - Duda's own home at 4210 Tyndrum, Durham.  Vincent Petrarca's Tonic Construction did the construction.
