2001 - Dillard, Georgia.  It's called the Mountain Tree House, 2000 sf.  Half is enclosed by glass walls; the other half is screened in porches and outdoor courtyards. The lower level contains a reinforced concrete garage which houses the tools and supplies for the bamboo garden that extends out the rear and forms the columns for the terrace above. The bamboo grows through a narrow slot in the deck above joining the two spaces; one used for horticulture the other for sitting and view the surrounding wildlife. The glass bedroom rests on top to the garage and cantilevers out over the yard. Attached to the bedroom is the small, steel clad bathroom which has walls that can be swung open to the outdoors to create an outdoor shower or allow for quick and easy cleaning. The house won the AIA Honor Award for Architecture in 2005.

The architects are currently working on a guest house, garage, and deck addition which will add 1000 interior sf and 1000 sf of open deck.
