Enjoy browsing, but unless otherwise noted, these houses are private property and closed to the public -- so don't go tromping around uninvited.

Michael Rantilla was born in Sao Paolo, Brazil.  His family worked in the automotive industry there and later they moved to East Lansing and Detroit.  In 1996, he graduated with a Bachelors in Architecture from Cornell then worked for Rossetti Associates, Smithgroup, and Gurlitz Architectural Group.  In 1997 he moved to Raleigh and now works for Freelon Group.  The house, below, was a design for his private residence as well as an experiment in being one's own general contractor for a small, technically complex project.  We can all say that experiment was a success.
