TMH uses Google to drive our
searches. Type anything into the Search box and Google will search TMH for that information. Some searches turn up much
more information than you need.
For example,
Milton Small is a well-known Raleigh architect. Typing in Milton Small
produces all the TMH Pages that have both the word "Milton"
and the word "Small." To narrow the results, enter
"Milton Small" in quotes.
Now let's say you are looking
for a particular Milton Small-designed house and all you
recall is the street in Raleigh. To narrow results
further, enter:
"Milton Small"
Granville
Other specific searches are
available:
Addresses: Place them in
quotes, such as "3017 Granville." (For best results,
leave off the street type (Drive, Avenue, etc.) as various
spellings may miss the target.)
Cities: TMH lists almost
all city-state names in the form
Dallas TX, where the state is the two-letter postal code and
there's no comma between the city and state.
Generally
speaking, just type in what you remember, such as:
David Davenport
Thompson Garner
and you'll most
likely find the desired information. Searches are NOT
case-sensitive.
Try it out!
It takes Google about 7 to 10 days to update
each time we change content.
